Children sitting in a circle on a woven mat reading books with a volunteer teacher in a village courtyard at golden hour
Sarvatra Shiksha Samiti

Where a child is read to,
a village begins to change.

We are a small, community-rooted samiti that works with children, youth and families through everyday education, awareness and volunteer effort.

·
Local hands
Volunteers from the same neighbourhoods we serve.
·
Steady work
Small, regular sessions — not one-off events.
·
Honest voice
We share what works, and what still needs work.
— About the samiti

Quiet effort, in the places we already live.

Sarvatra Shiksha Samiti began the way most community work begins — a few people, one mat, and a handful of children who wanted help with their schoolwork.

We have stayed small on purpose. The work is shaped by the families we meet, and carried out by volunteers who live in the same lanes. We focus on what we can sustain: regular learning support, conversations on health and rights, and small skill sessions for women and youth.

We measure progress not in numbers, but in the children who keep coming back to learn — and the volunteers who keep coming back to help.

Help where you live.

A few hours a week, a skill you can share, or simply a hello — there is a place for you at the mat.
